Support our Permit Application

In order for us to complete the Martinez Renewable Fuels project, we need your support for our Environmental Impact Report, which is available for public input starting July 5th, 2021.

To complete this report, we took into account public comments on our project and worked with officials from Contra Costa County for months to address public and government questions. The final report can be found here. A few highlights:

• Compared to our operations as a petroleum refinery, Martinez Renewable Fuels will
  • Reduce pollutant emissions, greenhouse gas emissions, and water use substantially
  • Result in no increased truck or rail traffic, and will reduce total vehicle-miles traveled
• Martinez Renewable Fuels will process only renewable feedstocks – there will be no crude oil processing at the site.
